Milliband (a weasel in appearance and personality) is positioning himself to topple Brown. It's creating divisions and we might be able to take advantage of that.
Please send an email to the Daily Mail, pointing out that it's all very well Labour MPs rallying round Gordon Brown, but the SNP are most likely to snatch his Scottish constituency away from him at the next general election anyway, which will make him completely redundant and the Labour Party even more of a laughing stock. Or words to that effect. I'm going to mention Frank Field, who has called for an English Parliament on previous occasions.
If I were a Labour MP, it wouldn't be David Milliband that worried me; it would be Gordon Brown. Come the next general election, the constituency of Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath will be represented by the SNP and not Labour. If Gordon is still PM at that time, it will make the Labour Party even more of a laughing stock than it is today. The same scenario applies to any Scottish MP they might consider to replace him; but I'm sure some in the Labour Party will already be thinking exactly the same thing. Now where will they find an Englishman/woman with a spine? Certainly not in the Cabinet. Step forward Frank Field. Your country - England - needs you!
